Hello yaks

The troll came together nicely. After the update a few posts up, that finished base really worked as a motivator and a I more or less finished the colour blocking on the same day.

Then it was into the ink black lining which on a miniature this big was actually a really fun process.

I even pulled my finger out and painted one of the hand options which you can see on the left - a huge claw which was probably the most fun part to black line.

I did mess up a bit in various places with the lines, particularly the cross hatching, and I'm not totally sold on how I colour blocked the belly, but I think the overall effect is working pretty well.

Time will tell the wisdom of giving any of my players, particularly the big guy, the number 13...

Damn! When I zoom in, the comic book effect really shines! I had to remind myself it’s a 3D model and not a 2D art panel.

And why every city had a AAAAA Taxi company so they'd be first in the Yellow Pages. For the Juves, the Yellow Pages was the paper version of the internet that only covered your city back in the day.
