So here we go again..
So versatile rules say, you are considered to be engaged with an enemy model if you are within range of the versatile weapon. It does not state that you can only attack with that weapon though. ( Yes this will be rules as written)
Other weapons give an E , as in, they can be used if the model wielding them is engaged with a target. So it seems to me, if you have two weapons, lets say a shock whip and power pick. You charge get within 3 inches of a model and are considered engaged, you get +1 attack for charging +1 attack for two weapons being used. Lets say that gives you a total of 3 attacks. Now splitting it, you swing 1 time with the whip and 2 times with the power pick. I know it may not seem to make sense hitting with picks, but versatile rules do state that you the attacker are considered engaged, not that only the weapon with versatile can be used, and if you are.. engaged, you can use other melee weapons.

Please let me know if this is fixed or i am missing something?

You are correct that this is the RAW. However, Necromunda is not the kind of game where you can rely on the RAW, as that would require writers who know how to write.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been fixed in any official capacity (except maybe if you count random facebook posts from the designers). The game hasn't been FAQed at all for months.

RAI, it's pretty clear that 'E' in profiles doesn't really mean Engaged but 0" (otherwise, Versatile profiles wouldn't work as intended as you would always suffer the -1 to hit). It's also best to forget all that "Versatile can make you temporarily Engaged from afar" non-sense. What Versatile actually does is let you make close combat attacks (and reaction attacks) while not Engaged, using only weapons with the Versatile trait and sufficient range. That's all it was ever intended to do. You can't use Sidearms or regular Melee weapons when doing Versatile attacks, you can't use it to Headbutt or Hurl, or use Magnacles, or assist/interfer (or anything that requires you to be Engaged) from a distance, and it doesn't extends the range of Coup de Grâce. Basically, any Versatile-related shenanigan you can think of is unintended.

The versatile rules, actually state specifically that it is only used during that fighters activation, so no, it won't work for reaction attacks. Also Coupe De Grace requires.. base to base contact. Perhaps you are reading last edition rules?

Versatile works for reaction attacks (see GotU p 144, second paragraph of the Versatile rules, that states the target fighter "may not be able to make reaction attacks" if they are not equipped with a Versatile weapon of their own, implying they can if they are) This is an implicit exception to that rule you quoted.

You actually don't need b2b contact for CdG, you only need to be within 1" of the target. Some players have been confused with Versatile at first since seriously injuring a fighter with a CC attack at "versatile range" technically gets you a free Coup de grâce action, but you are unable to perform it if you are not within 1" of the target (a classic case of "can vs. can't").

You should search for earlier discussions on this topic, much of the same confusions and explanations are already diacussed.
