This came about when I thought it was rather odd that the inventor roll could only invent rare items. Why couldn't an inventor invent an autopistol or a lascanon in addition to a needle pistol or a One in a Million Weapon? The new version is NCE. It allows you it invent from most anything from: NCE, OCE, and New Equipment.
