Petitioner's City submitted a new resource:

Ash Wastes Rules - Ash Wastes rules - vehicles and beasts, scenarios, etc.

Hi all, this is a summary of the Ash Wastes rules for a heavily modded Eternal Campaign.

These rules owe a lot to Gorkamorka, the original Ash Wastes rules, Speed Freeks, as well as the modern interpretation by Crow Industries (see here).

In addition, are conversion ideas for vehicles and beasts identifying kits utilised in some conversions. These are credited.

Feedback and criticism is welcome.

What do you mean, Pierric? These are just my own, based on some other things.

However, yes, they are developing something to do with the Ash Wastes, although when and if we'll see it, who knows :D

Ok. Since you seem to know some Geedubs guys and since it include some GW illustrations, the same polices used in GW publishings and half of its 80 pages are dedicated to promote GW kits, I was wondering if this was some kind of GW draft version intentionnaly leaked on specialits forums, just to probe the waters, you know.

No no, I don't know anyone - and I don't think I'd be allowed to include mantic products or revell products or Lego alongside gw ones if I was trying to advertise. That was just to help my group with possible vehicle ideas, as some aren't so clued up on all the gw kits they could more or less easily access :ROFLMAO: I do have to say an Achilles ridgerunner is a lot smaller than I thought it would be!

I honestly expect their vehicle rules to be pretty left field, but I imagine they will be grounded in simple/basic/double actions as that is the mechanism of the game. I'm curious if they ressurrect the facing rules of old, and ramming, sidesweeps, etc. But who knows what those magicians and devils will come up with?

The Ash Wastes supplement is a huge question mark for me.

To me, the possibilities are such (with the fluff, the environment, the beasts & vehicles rules, the miniature range) that it should be a brand new game, a spinoff from Necromunda as Nec was a spinoff from W40K 25 years ago, with a brand new miniature range, with four basic different nomads gangs available in plastic kits, along vehicles (1 heavy truck allowing 4 sub-variants to go with the gangs, the same for a "car" and the same for motorbikes/motorjets) and 2 kits of 2 beasts and 2 riders. That would be a killer and I would probably buy all the kits.

Unfortunately, it will probably be some half assed written rules hastily assembled by a limited team and with ridiculous deadline, and a few insanely overpriced vehicle kits sold through FW. This way, I won't even buy the rulebook...

I like that idea - but we shall see; equally I think every orlock player and their dog wants to go riding in the wastes, and it's quite fun adapting the ranges to the wastes - far easier than with metals in the early aughts!

Petitioner's City, I have a question about the Extra seat for the bike/beast, I presume if you buy the extra seat for the bike/beast you can attach a heavy weapon and are not limited to pistols and basic weapons, but it doesn't really make it clear if one is still only able to take a pistol of basic weapon, if one can only have pistols and basic weapons fixed with a extra seat it doesn't seem worth taking a extra seat, its just better to get another bike/beast in that case, also losing 1 attack when riding a bike makes it unadvisable to give a bike/beast to a champion or leader.

Hi! Thank you so much for making this amazing work!

One question, what are the stat lines for a bike/small beast?

Like how the vehicle/big beast has the stat sheet for engine, body and tires.

What are the stats for a bikes engine body and wheels?

Hi @sharkshack , I think I may have anticipated how GW did the ash wastes in a few ways, with bikes and wee beasts being closer to wargear. I'll be updating this to meld better with Book of the Outlands, but you can see a wee bit of how I'll go here.
