I only just paid attention to this note in the "fluff" part of the 2025 Venators update:
"The oldest traditions still extant in the hives of Necromunda require the Bounty Hunters to set aside their individual identities for the duration of the hunt, donning hoods, snarling masks and occasionally the executioner’s noose used as a symbol of faith across the hive world."
That is a very distinct shout-out to the 1990-ish Confrontation precursor to Necromunda, published in White Dwarf, in which the Venator bounty hunters wore "traditional" "Grotesque leather masks" and hoods, and carried "traditional" axes.
